Week Thirty-One

I completely forgot to publish this last week—whoops! I've started publishing these updates over at my Beach Town Family blog as well, so if in doubt, check for an update over there!

ORIGINAL POST:

Nine weeks to go—the nesting is ON!

Saturday I...

  • planted some foxgloves in our garden.
  • finished off the pleated panel and cut the rest of the panels for Jude's crib skirt.Photobucket
  • altered one of two valances for the nursery.
We also...
  • got rid of the futon in Logan's room to make way for crib #2.
  • moved all of the furniture out of the nursery and dining room and got those rugs {professionally!!} cleaned.Photobucket
Unfortunately, this week...
  • my back has been hurting like crazy by the end of each day {the fact that I'm up and about most of the day *probably* doesn't help}, and I've been getting nasty heartburn.
  • Logan has been on a tantrum kick the past couple days, and I have NO idea why.
  • I still have eight million things left on my to-do list.
  • the little guy growing inside me has taken a liking to inflicting painful kicks and jabs, which I do not remember happening so much during the last go around!!
But I'm...
  • feeling really good, otherwise!
  • at the exact same weight this week as I was at 31 weeks along with Logan.
  • super-excited to be on the home-stretch and to be that much closer to meeting our newest family member. :)
Here's the belly this week:
31 Weeks
Logan and I have been spending a lot of time outside—am I looking fabulously tan? ;)

-----------------

Completely unrelated, but last week I found Logan's blanket with a huge tear in it...

Any ideas on how I go about repairing this? Even though this thing is SO beat up by now, I'm scared that I'm only going to make matters worse!
