I'm eating mini donuts while writing my post today—how awesome pregnant am I??
Anyway. If you've landed on this blog, there's a good chance that you have or are expecting a little one of your own! If that's the case, be sure to visit my main blog—This Beach Town Family—and enter my homemade burp cloth giveaway!
Okay. On to the weekly report.
I've definitely reached the point of feeling "big" movements now, though it's not all day long yet. In fact, I hardly notice the little guy until I get in bed for the night. Then the jabs, kicks, and punches start rolling in. Sometimes they're strong enough to see from the outside, too...that's always fun. :) I'll have to remember for next time that it's in the early twenty-weeks when the movement sensations start to feel like a baby, and not just some foreign internal bodily function!
Here's the belly this week...

It doesn't look much bigger than last week, which seems like a good thing considering the rate it's been growing at over the past month or so!
And since I'm out of fruit comparisons over at thebump.com until week 25, here's a little sketch from their site of a week 23 baby:

how cute!! I love the big movements too, but yep, don't feel them until i get in bed at night! Isn't that just silly?!
My timing in finding your blog is perfect! I'm in week 26 of #2 and I've been feeling so much movement lately. Since I have a terrible memory, I couldn't remember when I began feeling these REAL movements. It's encouraging to see I'm not alone and my baby is not trying to come out or stick his hand out for me to shake (as I thought he was trying to do a couple of nights ago).
Congrats on your upcoming addition and I look forward to following your progress, especially since we're so close. You look great, by the way!
